Wenke Yuan

I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Automation at the School of Information Science and Technology, University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), under the supervision of Prof. Jian Yang. I completed my undergraduate studies in the School of the Gifted Young (SGY), USTC. I am currently conducting a research visit at the School of Computing, National University of Singapore

My research focuses on deep reinforcement learning (DRL) and large language model (LLM) driven autonomous collaboration within UAV swarms, with the goal of building smarter and more efficient aerial communication networks to advance edge mobile intelligence. I have published three papers in IEEE Transactions on Communications. Additionally, I have published four conference papers at international conferences such as IEEE GLOBECOM, two of which received the Best Paper Award and Best Poster Award at the 2024 4th International Conference on Autonomous Unmanned Systems.

During my Ph.D., I have been extensively engaged in the research and development of several major engineering projects. In 2023, as a core technical contributor, I participated in the development of an onboard router for China’s deep-space exploration satellites. The router has been successfully deployed on the ``TianDu-1” satellite as part of the Chang’e-4 mission. As the first student contributor, I was honored with the 2025 Future Network Leading Scientific and Technological Achievement Award. In 2024, I spearheaded the development of a lightweight integrated communication-computing-network-control onboard device for UAVs, leading my team to win the 2025 China International College Students’ Innovation Competition Silver Award.
